Timbuktu Research & Design – Educational Terms & Conditions
- Definitions
· “Provider,” “We,” “Us”: Timbuktu Research and Design.
· “Participant,” “You,” “Student”: The individual purchasing or attending a Course.
· “Course”: The specific educational program purchased, as defined below.
· “Online Self-Paced Course”: Pre-recorded digital content accessed via a learning portal for indefinite or defined-term access.
· “Online Live Course”: A scheduled course delivered in real-time via video conferencing.
· “Physical 1-on-1 / Group Course”: An in-person course held at a specified location.
- Enrollment and Payment
· Enrollment is complete upon receipt of full payment.
· All fees are as listed at the time of purchase and are non-refundable except as specified in Section 4.
- Course Access and Delivery
· Online Self-Paced Courses: Access credentials will be provided within 48 hours of purchase. You are responsible for maintaining internet access and device compatibility. We reserve the right to update or retire content.
· Online Live Courses: Login details will be sent prior to the session. It is your responsibility to attend at the scheduled time; recordings are not guaranteed.
· Physical Courses: The exact location and time will be confirmed via email. You are responsible for your own travel and accommodations.
- Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy
· Online Self-Paced Courses: Due to the nature of instant digital access, all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are granted.
· Online Live Courses: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date may receive a 50% refund or full credit. No refunds for cancellations within 7 days.
· Physical Courses: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date may receive a 50% refund. No refunds for cancellations within 14 days. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course, offering a full refund or transfer to a new date.
- Intellectual Property & Participant Conduct
· All course materials (videos, patterns, texts, handouts) are the exclusive intellectual property of Timbuktu Research and Design. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.
· Redistribution, sharing of login credentials, commercial replication, or teaching of our proprietary content is strictly prohibited.
· You agree to participate respectfully, especially in group settings. We reserve the right to remove any participant for disruptive behavior without refund.
- Liability and Disclaimer
· Participation in physical courses involves a personal assumption of risk. You agree to follow all safety instructions.
· To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the course fee paid.
